Art Competition
On September 6, 2022, an art competition was held to promote students' artistic and creative abilities. It attracted entries from students across the university. During this session, students also learned about Ignite's capacity to help them advance their talents.
booxwoox
On October 7, 2021, IGNITE - Innovation & StartUp Centre I Co-working Space hosted a professional discussion in which it highlighted the budding startup Booxwoox.The first online platform for peer-to-peer lending and borrowing of books in India. At the event, more than 100 students took part. Many students were able to take advantage of the internship opportunity.
Digital Marketing as Carrier Option
On the 6th of May 2023, Ignite in collaboration with E-cell organized an expert talk in which our speaker Mr.Mit Thakkar(CEO,Searchonic) gave insights about the importance of Digital Marketing in today's era and guidance about how a person can start a career in Digital Marketing as a freelancer or full-time job depending on an individual preference. In this expert talk many HODs and faculties from various departments gave their presence.
Emerging Patent Trends In India
On 26th of April, IGNITE and Silver Oak University celebrated World IPR Day by educating students and faculties alike on intellectual property rights, encouraging patent filings, and offering startup support to take their innovative ideas in the market.

On 23rd September 2021, IPR Awareness program was organized by IGNITE for giving information regarding Patent and form filling process. This session was delivered by attorney Ms.Dharti Shah.
GUFTGU I Talk Series
The first chapter of GUFTGU by e - Cell of Ignite (startup and incubation center at Silver Oak University) on 9th August,2023, was overwhelming for the speakers, guests and attendees .The event was graced by accomplished speakers, Smt Shweta Khandwala (Director of SOU ), Ms Mansi Modi (Artpreneur, Founder of D Dancing street, entrepreneur), Mrs Dhrushma Doshi (Co founder and producer of Aastha Production ), Ms Ruchika Kakkad (Advocate in Gujarat High Court). The guest of honor was Smt . Poonam Agrawal (Vice President of SOU) , Dr. Pina Bhatt (Deputy Vice Chancellor SOU), Dr. Hemal Patel (Principal SOCA), Dr. Shalini Chaturvedi (President Women Development cell, SOU). Over 100 women attended and as part of the session, tied rakhis to each other to symbolize that women stand for women.
Ideathon
On the occasion of Foundation Day of Silver Oak University, IGNITE & E-Cell jointly organized IDEATHON 2022 on 26th July at IGNITE Incubation Center, Silver Oak University by E-Cell. Jury of this event were Mr. Javid Shaikh (CEO, NIPER Bio Pharma Incubation Centre), Mr. Mrunal Kakkad (Incubation Manager, IGNITE, Silver Oak University), Mr. Keval Kelawala (Founder, Sudaksh Technologies LLP), Mr. Jalpesh Panchal (Founder & CEO, Vocadors Pvt. Ltd.). Total 19 team presented their innovative ideas before juries. Five winners were announced and all of them got pre-incubation support & gifts from IGNITE Incubation Center.
Ignite Startup Bootcamp
From 15th march 2023, a 4 day startup boot camp was organized by Silver oak University and IGNITE to motivate and support new Entrepreneurs. Day1 covered Digital aspects of idea generation, Day 2 covered BMC and Financial Aspects, Day 3 focused on IPR and Digital Marketing, and Day 4 involved idea evaluation with Playrize Games winning the competition.

Khadi India
On 28th February 2023, Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) visited Silver Oak University for creating an awareness regarding Pradhan Mantri Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) and motivated hundreds of students for self-reliance and Make in India Startup.
Knowladge Of Gaining IPR Awareness
On 9th June 2022, IGNITE Innovation & StartUp Centre of Silver Oak University organized the very first IPR Awareness Session under NIPAM on occasion of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav (75 years of India's Independence) by Expert Mr. Arpit Jain from Patent Office, Mumbai He delivered in-depth knowledge about patents, designs, trademarks, Geographical-Indications, copyrights, semiconductor, integrated-circuits, layout-designs, protection of plant varieties and farmers’ rights (Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare). Students and faculties had great learning experiences.
Latest trends in technology
On 23rd March 2023 Ms. Bhumi Sharma (CEO, Techno IT Hub & Ampro) and IGNITE organized a workshop, covering AI, blockchain, VR, and cybersecurity. Participants gained valuable insights into these technologies' applications and their potential impact on industries and the future of work.
Mushroom Cultivation
On 22nd November 2022, E-Cell (under IGNITE) organized a seminar on Mushroom Cultivation with Mr. Sagar Patel as the speaker, covering topics like mushroom types, cultivation techniques, and R & D.
School Students Sensitization Program (Zamp Goverment School, Sanand)
On 18th October 2022, IGNITE conducted an entrepreneurship awareness session at Government School of Zamp Village, Ahmedabad. The event included interactive presentations, creative activities, and emphasized repurposing waste materials in to market selling products.
setback to comeback
On 1st March 2023, Ms. Nikita Maheshwari shared her entrepreneurial journey, discussing her failed venture and subsequent success with TATKAL LORRY, emphasizing the importance of market research and customer-centricity. The session was informative, interactive, and included a Q & A session.
startpu story
Ignite in collaboration with E-cell had organized Start-up Stories event with Mr. Param Dhagia & Mitul Kalsariya,founders of Vulfosec (cyber security company) on 19th January 2023. They shared knowledge on the steps for building a successful startup. They solved many queries of start-up aspirants.
Startup Promotion
A startup Promotion Event was organized by E-Cell, Ignite Incubator Center and Co-working space. There are 100 plus startups In Ignite Incubation Center. And one of the startups, Platyle, was promoted by E-Cell Ignite. In it, the promoter of startup PlayTyle explained the purpose of using their application and gave detailed information about how to use the same. Event was attended by over 300 students.
Student sensitization
Ignite staff visited different colleges of Silver Oak University, sensitizing over 2,500 students from various departments about Ignite, start-ups, IPR facility, Government schemes and funding opportunities.
SWOT Analysis
E-Cell at IGNITE organized a session on SWOT analysis on 16th november 2022 which covered its definition, importance, and how to conduct it, including a case study on Starbucks. The event also included a talk on SSIPs by Mr. Sagar Patel and post-event research on Vitamin D by attendees.
WSRO Award
The World Steam & Robotics Olympiad (WSRO) organized an award ceremony where our three startups got certification and awards. This event was organized at science city Ahmedabad. Awards were given to our following startups: ALTER EVC, SUDAKSH TECHNOLOGIES and BANDHANI FARMERS
